Meet the Founder

Cynthia Chadwick — Founder & Director

Cynthia Chadwick is the visionary behind PT Chadwick Lingua Global. Born and raised in Bali, Indonesia, she is a native Indonesian and Balinese speaker, deeply connected to her cultural roots and passionate about bridging languages and cultures.

Her journey in language services began in 2010, when she started working as a private English, Maths, and Science tutor for children. Over the years, she discovered not just a love for teaching, but also a calling to help others communicate with clarity, confidence, and cultural awareness.

In 2015, a scoliosis diagnosis changed the course of her life. While recovering, Cynthia transitioned into the world of translation, offering her services for academic journals and business documents—Tia Translator. Her reputation grew quickly through word-of-mouth and online platforms.

By 2018, she began translating for global platforms like Webnovel.com and Joyread.com, and in 2023, she expanded her solo practice into a full-scale language service agency, now a brand under PT Chadwick Lingua Global.

Today, Cynthia leads a global network of over 2,600 native-speaking linguists, providing high-quality translation, interpretation, and language training services in more than 100 languages. She brings a hands-on, heart-centered approach to every project, ensuring quality, cultural accuracy, and genuine care for client needs.

Cynthia is especially passionate about education and inclusivity. She has developed specialized programs such as English for Kids with Special Needs, blending Montessori principles with playful, hands-on learning.

Outside her language work, Cynthia is a devoted animal lover. She runs The Pong Home, a rescue shelter in Bali where she cares for cats, dogs, a turtle, and even a duck.

Her journey—from private tutor to translator to global agency founder—is a story of resilience, empathy, and purpose. Through her work, she continues to build bridges across people, places, and cultures.
